ORSOFT Manufacturing Workbench is a sophisticated APS software designed to integrate seamlessly with SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA. It enhances SAP systems by providing features like an interactive planning board, various planning functions, and tools for supply chain management processes, all without the need for complex additional IT infrastructure or a standalone SCM system. In ERP frameworks such as SAP ERP PP, production planning and logistics planning are typically handled using the MRP-II methodology, which necessitates a clear distinction between material requirements and capacity planning. These ERP systems manage operations in a transaction-oriented manner. In contrast, ORSOFT Manufacturing Workbench adheres to the principles of Advanced Planning and Scheduling, allowing for interactive multi-resource simultaneous planning alongside the ability to simulate and optimize different planning scenarios, ultimately improving operational efficiency. This integration leads to better decision-making and a more agile response to changing production demands.
